WP Suspension

WP made better

Plush. Planted. Predictable.

If you ride a KTM, Husqvarna, or GasGas, you ride WP. And if you've spent real time on stock WP forks, you probably already know the problem: harsh over small chop, deflecting off rocks and roots, and either diving through the stroke or refusing to use it at all.

It's not your imagination, and it's not your clickers. For years, WP forks have left a lot of performance on the table. At Stillwell Performance, we've spent those years fixing them.

A fix for every WP fork

No two WP designs have the same weaknesses, so we don't treat them the same way. Depending on your fork and how you ride, we offer:

  • Custom pistons and valving. Our own piston designs and valving specs correct the damping at its source rather than masking it with clicker settings.
  • Conversion kits. These suit forks that need more than a "revalve" to work properly.
  • Full cartridge replacements. When the stock internals are the limitation, we replace them with complete cartridge systems from WP Pro Component line or various other brands such as MX-Tech, KYB, Ohlins to name a few. We'll recommend the option that fits your bike, your riding, and your budget, not the most expensive one.

WP shocks

WP shocks are a different story. The components are solid; it's the factory tuning that holds them back. Our answer is piston and valving combination  that we developed in-house and have been refining for years. It gives the rear end the same plush, controlled feel as the front, so the bike works as a matched set.

Built on data, not guesswork

Every setup is developed with dyno testing and on-bike telemetry. The dyno shows us exactly what the damping is doing, and telemetry shows us what the suspension is doing on the trail or track. Together they let us tune to measured results as well as feel.

Built for off-road

Off-road riding and racing is what we specialize in: rocks, roots, whoops, and long days where a harsh fork wears you out. We also have plenty of motocross experience, so if your bike splits time between the trail and the track, we can set it up for both.

What you'll notice

A suspension that soaks up the small stuff, holds its line through the rough, and does the same thing every time you hit the same obstacle, with the control and bottoming resistance to back it up when you get it wrong.

Around the shop, we put it more simply: never deflect, never bottom.
